For over a decade I have empowered large corporations, B2B companies, non-profit organizations and local businesses across the nation to discover and share their brand story through the practical use of marketing, design and social media. I've amassed a wealth of experience in the rapidly evolving technology, advertising and media space that I have passed on to others.  Recently, I have overseen corporate branding and messaging strategies for ad tech start-ups and have leveraged data and insights to produce, measure and grow engaging marketing campaigns across multiple channels.  I am proud to say I have spoken at various industry conferences, and have shared my thoughts in a variety of publications about technology, advertising, and emerging media trends.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before it was besieged by a storm of PBR-drinking hipsters.  I recently relocated to the suburbs to afford my son the chance to see trees and grass.  I am a die-hard Met and Jet fan, so I am used to disappointment.  And, as you can tell by the theme of this site, I love listening to heavy metal.  It is an outlet from all the despair being a Met and Jet fan has caused.

Spearheaded a content strategy overhaul, resulting in restructuring the team and how we support the broader business goals which helped increase our historical productivity by almost 50% YOY.

 

 

  • Lead and direct a high-performing content strategy team of 12, responsible for conceptualizing and executing content plans that effectively communicate the value propositions of a diverse set of SaaS products

  • Oversee content guidelines to uphold brand integrity while accommodating the preferences of diverse user personas to drive engagement across channels

Head of Content Marketing

Streamlined the process for incoming content requests by implementing a task management system, enabling the team to prioritize and focus on creating content 3x faster while developing a structured content strategy aligned to product and sales roadmap.

 

  • Developed a foundational content strategy for 3 product lines aligned to documented business goals to ensure cross-functional alignment

  • Oversaw creation and production of pillar content, including annual Customer Engagement Report, which served as foundational content for targeted marketing campaign and drove over 200 leads in 30 days

  • Derived and enforced editorial standards to ensure a consistent brand voice across all marketing content, from the web to collateral

  • Managed and mentored a team of 6 content writers and 2 designers with editorial and creative direction
